About myself: My name is Kim Ouweleen, I am a 4 dan from the Netherlands. My artist pseudonym is Murugandi. I have made more go artworks, many of them on commission (for the Latin-American Go Congress in 2019, for example). My art often involves animals and a technique called paper marbling. This is one of my most recent go artworks, I drew it during the corona crisis. I did a lottery on Instagram and Facebook to give the drawing away to a random person and make someone happy during the crisis.

Originally made as a logo for the European Youth Go Championships in 2015.

- "The Tortoise Shell"

A pun on the name for one of the strongest shapes in go called 亀の甲 (the tortoise shell) in Japanese.
